Bandera county historical commission

The Bandera County Historical Commission is a group of individuals, appointed by the commissioner's court, who share a common interest, donate their time and talent to various committees, in the recording of the history of Bandera County. In addition to actively participating in the historical preservation, heritage and restoration the commission host events of the county's history including but not limited to Juneteenth, locating and digitally recording lost historic sites throughout the county and much more.  2026 meeting dates are July 21st, October 20th and December 15th.  All meetings are at 11am at the America Legion Hall 205 12th Street Bandera, Texas.
